AEROTHAI has won the tender for Gautam Buddha Airport Improvement (GBA Project) at Bhairahawa

Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI) has won for the tender, at 160 million Baht, for Supply, Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning of Communication, Navigation and Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM), Meteorological Equipment Other Related Goods and Services for Gautam Buddha Airport (GBA Project) at Bhairahawa. Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has carried out this project, under The Asian Development Bank (ADB) support, to elevate the GBA to be the 2nd international airport of Nepal. This GBA airport is located nearby Lumbini city, the birthplace of the Lord Buddha.  The project scope of work is Installation, Testing and Commissioning and Flight Calibration of Navigation and Communication Systems. This project duration is 270 days and will be completed in 2019.
