The Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Limited, in collaboration with Collins Aerospace and Aviation Data Communication Corporation, co-hosted the 3-Way GLOBALink/Asia Partners Meeting at the Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel in Chiang Mai province, held from November 6, 2023. This gathering also commemorated the 25th anniversary of the GLOBALink/Asia-Pacific partnership.

On November 6, 2023, Mr. Paisan Praneetpongrang, Executive Vice President of Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Limited, Ms. Clotilde Enel-Rehel, Executive Director of Connectivity & Enablement Solutions at Collins Aerospace, USA, and Mr. Li Qiguo, Deputy Director General of the Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB) in the People's Republic of China, jointly presided over the opening of the 3-Way GLOBALink/Asia Partners Meeting. This meeting involves three-party collaboration among airline data communication network service providers (Airlines Operational Communications: AOC) within the Asian region, operating under the banner of "GLOBALink/Asia-Pacific."

The objective is to enhance AOC services for optimal efficiency by devising marketing strategies and upgrading equipment systems and applications to modern standards aligned with technology advancements in the Asia-Pacific region over the past 25 years. Collectively, the meeting aims to discuss and deliberate on strategic plans in the airline data communication network service sector to address potential service issues that might impact the system and users. Moreover, the objective is to evolve services in tandem with present and future aviation communication technology, responding effectively to the shift towards complete digitalization in aviation communication systems. This transition is anticipated to bolster safety and efficiency in flight operations, integrating this technological system within the aviation industry.
