Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Limited (AEROTHAI) accommodated 520,367 flights this year and predicted to serve 858,387 flights next year.

Mr. Nopasit Chakpitak, President of AEROTHAI said; “After the government’s reopening policy, we have seen recovery of aviation industry. Flight numbers have been increasing, especially in the final quarter of this year. In October AEROTHAI served 1,637 flights a day, 1,806 flights a day in November and 1,800 flights a day in December. Totally, we will see a 79% rise to 520,367 up from 291,397 flights of last year.”

The President added; “Growing global trade, economic recovery and international border reopening encouraged recover of air transport in terms of both passenger and cargo carriers. For Thailand, flight numbers have been rising especially in this high season. Next year, we estimate to accommodate 858,387 flights or 2,352 flights a day, a 65% increase. We also forecast a rise of international flights especially from ASEAN, India and the Middle East. While, the reopening of China will be a key factor supporting more rapid recovery. AEROTHAI has prepared in terms of systems, procedures and staff to serve all flights with utmost safety and efficiency.”
