On 15 January 2020, Mr. Thaworn Senniam, Deputy Minister of Transport  visited and gave
Operational Policies under the concept of "Connecting Thailand, Connecting the World.”
The President, Mr. Somnuk Rongthong, together with Senior Management of AEROTHAI
welcomed and led the Deputy Minister and his team to Air Traffic Management Center at
Thungmahamek Headquarters. The Deputy Minister focused on 8 areas as follows


1. Air traffic Management: commit to service quality and efficiency and maintain service
standards for every airports. Air Traffic Management System should be developed
in accordance with global standard to ensure safety, cost-efficiency and predictability,
while integrating with the relevant partners.  

2. Communication System: develop and deploy modern communication system and
equipment to ensure service quality 

3. Aeronautical Information Service and Aeronautical Chart: develop route structure
to facilitate and encourage airlines to reduce cost while ensuring safety and efficiency

4. Aviation Meteorological Service: cooperate with the Meteorological Department
to ensure rapid and accurate meteorological information

5. Search and Rescue: prepare for disasters  and emergency situations and
encourage public awareness on safety and contingency plan

6. Organization structure improvement: emphasize human resource management
to enhance efficiency and high performance while encouraging innovation for aviation industry

7. Unmanned Aircraft (drone): integrate with Office of the Broadcasting Commission
Television business  And Telecommunications (NBTC) Civil Aviation Authority of
Thailand (CAAT) and Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC)  and Royal Thai Air Force
(RTAF) to undertake the rule and regulation of unmanned aircraft

8. Financial Management: manage budget for procurement with transparency
based on the principle of corporate governance
