According to the announcement of Airports Authority of Thailand (AOT), the runway will be closed
for maintenance, during 1.30 - 8.30 am, starting on November 8 2019, and will be reopened on
6 April 2020. AEROTHAI prepared the measure to accommodate air traffic and to minimize any
effects on the services.

Mr. Somnuk Rongthong, AEROTHAI President, said; “During the maintenance period,
the eastern runway 01R/19L) will be unavailable and the western runway will be used for
departure and arrivals (01L/19R). This will affect the flight-handling capacity about 50%,
from 68 to 34 flights for an hour. AEROTHAI has cooperated with AOT and airlines to
deploy measure and procedure for accommodating airspace users. The maintenance
may cause delays for some period, while other factor may also cause delay, such as
weather or other adverse condition. The travelers are also required to follow your
flight information.
