Mrs. Sarinee Angsusingha, AEROTHAI President, and Air Force Commander-in-Chief Air Chief Marshal Jom Rungsawang signed the revised MoU between AEROTHAI and the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) on 20 March 2018 at the VIP Room, RTAF. The annex is added in MoU emphasizing 2 areas which are
1. Cooperation on air traffic management for emergency cases and contingency plans
2. Cooperation on airspace management for both civil and military aviation.
On 13 March 2013 the cabinet has approved the drafting of national airspace policy for flexible use in civil aviation and security, in response to airspace changes and the increasing demand. The MoU is expected to support effective and flexible airspace management for national benefits.
