Portable Automatic Signal Light Gun, a necessary communication device designed by AEROTHAI and developed from High Power LED technology, to be used by aerodrome air traffic controllers when there is a communication failure, by transmitting specific light signals to pilots. The concept of Portable Automatic Signal Light Gun arises from its unique design and the desire to reduce human error factors.

Function :

  • Automatic signal transmission

-all six sets of signals comply with ICAO standards, by selecting the required signal set, the light signal is automatically transmitted when the trigger is pressed.

-the signal will stop when the trigger is released.

 

  • Manual signal transmission

-choose the signal colour based on request.

-hold/release the trigger in accordance with the required ATC Light Gun Signal set.

1.An individual signal light gun is composed of seven LED modules, which are designed with High Power LED technology. Each module contains three standard aviation signalling colours: RED, GREEN and WHITE

2.Light Intensity at light beam centre

LED Red >30,000 candelas

LED Green>30,000 candelas

LED White>45,000 candelas

3.Each LED module includes a smooth aluminum reflector to maximize light beam throw

4.Battery status is indicated by a bar chart LED
