Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Limited (AEROTHAI) hosted the tripartite meeting in which participated by Mrs. Sarinee Angsusingha, President of AEROTHAI, Mr. Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, President of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira, President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), with the aim to encourage the synergy among aviation-related organizations and to strengthen our strength to be Prefect Regional Aviation Hub.
 
Mrs. Sarinee Angsusingha, President of AEROTHAI, said “AEROTHAI provides air navigation services to accommodate 900,000 flights for a year and estimates to reach         1 million flights, while the growth rate of six years is 12-14%. According to tremendous growth, AEROTHAI has adjusted the projection of flights for a year to 2.7 million flights within 10-15 years. For AEROTHAI we prepare many aspects for this growth such as Air Navigation Infrastructure Development Project which spends 6,000 million baht, and National Aviation System Capacity Enhancement which consists of 3 phases: phase 1 (2016) to redesign airspace based on PBN (Performance Based Navigation) for Suvarnabhumi, Donmueang and U-tapao, phase 2 (2017-2018) to handle air traffic forecast until 2035 and analyze baseline capacity for airspace and airports, and phase 3 to finalize the improvement of overall infrastructure. All process AEROTHAI works closely with AOT and Thai Airways to enhance the capacity of our country.
 
Additionally, the meeting agreed to set up the working committee for On Time Performance and Thailand Aviation system Capacity Enhancement Project to oversee the statistic of on time performance which can be benchmarked with leading international airports of the world, and cooperate with Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand to ensure expanded capacity of our country to accommodate aviation growth efficiently.
